Winners of the Enjoy England for Excellence Gold Award - Tourist Information Centre of the Year 2009.
Chesterfield is famous for the ‘Crooked Spire' of its Parish Church. Legends surround it but the truth hinges on the weight of the lead tiles that cover the Spire’s wooden framework – all 32 tons of them! Chesterfield's other claim to fame is its open air market, one of the largest in the country. There are markets on Monday, Friday and Saturday all year, with a Flea Market every Thursday and a Farmers’ Market on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Sitting at the heart of some of the prettiest countryside in Britain, get the best of both worlds in Chesterfield. Come and see us soon!
